Australian authorities are appealing to the public to maintain a respectful distance from Neil, a popular 1,000-kilogram elephant seal, whose frequent appearances in residential areas have made him a social media sensation. Neil has garnered significant attention for his unique habit of lounging in unexpected locations, from suburban streets to boat ramps, often causing minor disruptions.
