Samsung Galaxy S26 India Prices Tipped for Significant Rise

Prospective buyers of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S26 series in India might face a notable price revision, with unconfirmed reports suggesting a significant increase. According to an industry tipster, certain configurations of the flagship smartphone could see their prices go up by as much as ₹12,000. This potential hike could position the new devices at a higher premium in the competitive Indian smartphone market.

Specifically, the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant of the Galaxy S26 is reportedly set to be priced at ₹99,999, while the 12GB RAM with 512GB storage model could cost ₹1,19,999. These figures represent a substantial jump compared to the current listings for comparable specifications on Samsung's official website, which presently show prices around ₹79,999 and ₹99,999 for similar configurations of the predecessor models, respectively.

It is crucial to note that these reported prices are based on speculation and have not been officially confirmed by Samsung India. The company's online store continues to display the existing pricing for its current lineup, indicating that any such revisions are yet to be reflected publicly. Consumers are advised to treat these figures as preliminary until an official announcement is made.

The alleged price adjustment is not limited to the standard Galaxy S26. Similar increases are also being anticipated for other high-end devices in Samsung's portfolio. Reports indicate that the premium Galaxy S26 Ultra and certain variants of the foldable Galaxy Z Fold series could also experience a price escalation, suggesting a broader strategy from the South Korean tech giant for its next generation of premium smartphones in India.
