Veteran Actor Radha Files Police Complaint Against Sister Over Alleged ₹46 Crore Cheque Misuse

Veteran South Indian actor Radha has approached Chennai police, filing a complaint against her sister, Ambika, and her brother, alleging financial impropriety involving blank cheques. The complaint states that cheques were unlawfully taken from her residence and subsequently misused in an attempt to misappropriate a substantial sum of approximately forty-six crore rupees.

According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed by the acclaimed actress, the blank cheques were allegedly removed from her home without her authorisation. She further claims that these cheques were then utilised in a manner intended to gain control of funds amounting to ₹46 crore, triggering a police investigation into the serious allegations.

The complaint also brings to light an underlying family dispute concerning access to and control over shared property. This ongoing disagreement is believed to form part of the backdrop to the current allegations of financial fraud, adding another layer of complexity to the family matter now under official scrutiny.

Authorities in Chennai have initiated an inquiry into the matter. Investigators are currently examining the specifics of Radha's claims, including how the cheques were allegedly obtained and the circumstances surrounding their reported misuse for such a significant financial sum. The police are expected to interview all parties involved as part of their ongoing probe.
